Wentworth Pro Credentials

What types of credentials do I earn for completing Wentworth Pro course?
Upon completion of courses, learners earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a WIT verified digital credential/certificate of completion to showcase on their resume and online channels. A CEU is not an academic credit; however, it is a nationally recognized standard of documenting the successful completion of non-degree professional training. One CEU is equivalent to ten instructional hours.

How do I share my verified digital credentials?
Upon completion of the course, you will be issued a portable WIT-verified digital credential via our Brightspace Learning Management Software. Your digital badge or certificate can be downloaded to your computer or uploaded into a free Credly Backpack, so you may store and share the digital credential via LinkedIn and/or other online channels.

We allow access to course materials and the Brightspace Learning Management Software (LMS) for up to 180 days from the course purchase date, unless specified otherwise. Learner is required to download or securely store WIT issued credentials using portable digital storage platforms or external credential backpacks made accessible during the learning period. After the stipulated access period, the University shall not be held responsible for the storage or retrieval of these digital credentials.

Do courses offered through Wentworth Pro count towards a degree?
Courses purchased and accessed through the Wentworth Pro platform are not eligible for academic degree credit.

Where can I get information on credit-bearing degree programs?
We offer a variety of degree programs including undergraduate and both full- and part-time graduate offerings. Please visit wit.edu/admissions to learn more or wit.edu/academics/degree-finder to explore degree programs.
